Dear Alumni,
As the Istanbul Aydın University Information Technologies Department, we continue our infrastructure improvements to enhance the security and performance of the digital services we provide to you.
In this context, adjustments will be made only to the @stu.aydin.edu.tr identities of our alumni who have Office 365 (Microsoft 365) accounts. Following the analyses conducted, it has been decided that alumni student accounts with the @stu.aydin.edu.tr extension that have shown no sign-in activity for the last 5 (five) years will be permanently deleted.
Process Schedule:
- Account Deletion Date: September 6, 2025
On the specified date, the related alumni student accounts, along with all data contained in them (e-mails, documents, OneDrive files, etc.), will be removed from the system irreversibly.
Required Actions: It is critically important that you transfer all data stored in your account, which you wish to keep, to a personal computer or another cloud storage service as soon as possible. The responsibility of transferring the data belongs to you, our valued alumni.
The purpose of this practice is to minimize the security risks that inactive student accounts may pose and to provide our digital resources more efficiently to our active students.
