ELT Program Research Assistant Ayşe Yaren Bağcı Successfully Defends Master’s Thesis

On May 11, 2026, Ayşe Yaren Bağcı, Research Assistant in our English Language Teaching Program and a student in our English Language Education Master’s Program, successfully defended her Master’s thesis entitled “Discourse Marker Use in EFL Classrooms: A Functional Analysis of Teacher Talk” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Türkay Bulut and with Dr. Hülya Yumru as the jury member, and received the title of Master of Science.
