From STEM to Artificial Intelligence: Innovative Approaches in Education

The talk titled “From STEM to Artificial Intelligence: Innovative Approaches in Education”, organized in collaboration with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Istanbul STEM Provincial Coordination, was held online on 22 April 2025. The event featured Prof. Dr. Devrim Akgündüz, Director of the STEM Education Application and Research Center at Istanbul Aydın University, as the keynote speaker. During the talk, he shared valuable insights on STEM education and innovative educational approaches emerging in the age of artificial intelligence.

The event also included contributions from Tunç Erdal Akdur, the Turkey Scientix Coordinator, while the session was moderated by Gülsüm Tiryaki Bayram, the Istanbul STEM Provincial Coordinator. The talk, which started at 20:00, provided an academically enriching environment that highlighted technology-driven transformations and future perspectives in education.
