IAU Sociology Department Strengthens International Ties: 3 Key Visits

Academic visits to Prof. Dr. Hacı Duran, Head of the Department of Sociology at Istanbul Aydın University, continue to bolster international relations.

On December 24, 2025, Prof. Dr. Hacı Duran hosted Dr. Bahi Hichem, a faculty member from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Biskra, Algeria. During the meeting, evaluations were made regarding academic cooperation and joint projects between the two universities.

On December 23, 2025, Prof. Dr. Hacı Duran welcomed administrative representatives from the Rectorate and affiliated units of the University of Tlemcen, Algeria. The visiting delegation included Meziani Abdelnasseür, Gouri Nabil, Nouar Thawriyya, Hedrache Latifa, and Laroubi Fethi.

Previously, on December 10, 2025, Menouar Ghellami, Assistant Secretary General of Hassiba Ben Bouali University of Chlef, Algeria, and Kamel Boubkeur visited Prof. Dr. Hacı Duran. The discussions focused on exchanging views regarding opportunities for administrative and academic collaboration between the institutions
