International Academic Activities of Prof. Dr. Hacı Duran

Prof. Dr. Hacı Duran, Head of the Sociology Department at Istanbul Aydın University, participated as a speaker in a web panel titled “Mercenaries of the Sudan Civil War” on January 6. Subsequently, on January 11, Prof. Duran attended a virtual congress as a guest of honor, which included sociologists from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and Morocco. During the congress, he delivered a presentation on “The Reality of Knowledge Produced in the Sociology Field within the Arab, Turkish, and Islamic Worlds.” The program, organized by the Arab Press Platform, also featured journalists from Iraq, Egypt, and Morocco as discussants.
