Rising Stars Student Incentive and Recognition Program (2025)
In line with its educational approach that promotes student achievement and sustainably supports academic development, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences launched the “Rising Stars” Student Incentive and Recognition Program on 30 May 2025. The Program aims to make the academic performance of students enrolled in all programs within the Faculty—particularly the Business Management (English) Undergraduate Program—more visible, to enhance their motivation, and to strengthen the culture of achievement at the institutional level.
The program is based on two main student groups. The first group consists of students who increased their cumulative grade point average (GPA) by at least 1.5 points compared to the previous semester, representing achievement grounded in academic improvement, continuity, and individual effort. The second group includes students with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 and above who meet the criteria of the Dean’s Honor List as determined by the Dean’s Office. This group reflects high academic performance aligned with the academic competence, disciplined study habits, and sustainable achievement objectives of the Business Management (English) Undergraduate Program.
Students who met the specified criteria were invited to an academic ceremony held with the participation of the Rector, hosted by the Dean, and attended by department chairs. During the ceremony, students were presented with incentive and recognition certificates, and their academic achievements were publicly acknowledged, recognizing their efforts at the institutional level. This practice emphasized that not only outcome-oriented success but also development-oriented academic achievement is institutionally supported. The “Rising Stars” Program clearly demonstrates the student-centered approach of the Business Management (English) Undergraduate Program, the learning environment that encourages academic excellence, and the quality assurance framework based on continuous improvement. Through the systematic monitoring and recognition of students’ academic development, the program contributes to enhancing the educational quality of both the Faculty and the Program.
