Visual Storytelling in Volkan Budak’s Films: Eksik & Yaban

Volkan Budak, a lecturer in the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department, participated in a conversation titled “Visual Storytelling in Volkan Budak Films: Eksik & Yaban” held at the Gedik Vocational School Drawing Workshop on Tuesday, December 23.

During the event, the lecturer analyzed visual storytelling, the use of framing, and narrative language using sample scenes from his films Eksik and Yaban. The session was enriched by students’ questions and a mutual exchange of ideas, while the sharing of practical experiences regarding the filmmaking process provided a productive learning environment for all participants.
