Khwarizmi Project – Healthy Choices in Healthy Eating

Kazım Karabekir Secondary School (Bahçelievler) visited our department as part of the Harezmi Project, and they were briefed by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and our Department Head. Fourteen 6th and 7th grade students participating in the project were informed about “Healthy Nutrition and Healthy Choices in Healthy Nutrition” by Prof. Dr. H. Tanju BESLER. Subsequently, in the Nutrition Principles Laboratory of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, our Double Major student, Ms. Yasemin Güzel, conducted applications related to “Healthy Choices in Healthy Nutrition,” and the possible effects and contributions of these applications to healthy eating were discussed.
