Visit to Clinical Internship Institution

The Chair of the Internship Commission of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Makbule Karcı, visited the İstanbul Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital on December 17, together with our Erasmus student, Paul Iulian Bistriceanu.

Within the scope of the visit, clinical internship practices were observed on-site, and evaluations were conducted regarding the student’s internship process, learning outcomes, and compliance with program objectives. Feedback was exchanged with clinical supervisors concerning the effectiveness of the internship environment, supervision quality, and alignment of clinical applications with the department’s educational competencies.

Such visits play a crucial role in monitoring internship processes, strengthening collaboration with external stakeholders, and ensuring the sustainability of quality assurance mechanisms within the framework of accreditation standards. In addition, they contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical education and support students’ professional and international development.
