Field Practice Final Presentations and Social Work Professional Oath Ceremony

Within the scope of the Field Practice Final Presentations and Social Work Professional Oath organized by the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Health Sciences, Istanbul Aydın University, students introduced the institutions where they carried out their field practice and shared their practical experiences. During the presentations, students provided detailed information on the service areas, target groups, social work interventions implemented, and the professional knowledge and experiences they gained throughout the field practice process at the institutions where they completed their placements, including social service centers, municipalities, nursing homes, child care sites, judicial institutions, non-governmental organizations, and social assistance institutions. In this process, the contributions of field practice to the development of professional skills, ethical awareness, and professional identity were also evaluated. The event, held on June 18 between 09:00 and 17:00 at the D Block Orange Hall, was conducted under the guidance and evaluation of the academic advisors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mira Assadi, Dr. Melek İpek, Res. Asst. İsmail Kuruhalil, and Res. Asst. Meryem Erol. The program concluded with the Social Work Professional Oath Ceremony, symbolizing students’ professional responsibilities and values as they transition into professional life.
