Orientation Program for First-Year Students Held on World Pharmacists Day, 25 September

Within the scope of the 2025–2026 academic year, the orientation program for newly admitted students of our faculty was held on 25 September — World Pharmacists Day — in the T Block Turquoise Hall. The program began with the opening speech of our Dean, Prof. Dr. A. Nurten Özdemir, followed by a presentation about our faculty delivered by Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Sevgi Karakuş. After an emotional speech by our 2nd-year representative, Ceren İlsu Korkmaz, PharmAydın Club President Sarenur Deli and Aydın ADEC Club President Aysu Özoğul introduced their clubs by presenting activities carried out in previous terms. The program continued with a presentation by Administrative Software Specialist Assistant Furkan Pulat on UBIS and EBS systems and concluded with a briefing by our Student Dean, Dr. Özgül Yaman, about university clubs. Following the presentations, students were taken to the library and informed about library services and operations.
