Oral Presentation Delivered at the ICS 2026 Congress

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şebnem Garip Ustaoğlu delivered an oral presentation at the 1st IKU-SPECTRA International Congress on Spectroscopy (ICS 2026), held at Istanbul Kültür University on May 21–22, 2026. During the congress, the study entitled “Combined Effects of Astragalus membranaceus and Calorie Restriction on Liver Protection: An ATR-FTIR and Biochemical Investigation” was presented. The research evaluated the protective effects of Astragalus membranaceus and calorie restriction on the liver using ATR-FTIR spectroscopy and biochemical analyses.

The presentation provided valuable insights into the application of current spectroscopic approaches in biomedical research and contributed to the dissemination of recent scientific developments in the field.
