17 April 2026 – Master’s Thesis Defenses
Our students from the MA Program in English Language Education successfully defended their master’s theses on April 17, 2026.
Hüdai Yıldız defended his thesis titled “Investigating the Effectiveness of AI-Based Computer Games vs. Traditional Games in Vocabulary Retention Among Middle School EFL Learners”, and Sinem Sürmeli defended her thesis titled “Krashen’s Input Hypothesis in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: A Corpus-Based Analysis of Reading Texts at CEFR B1–B2 Levels”. Both theses were conducted under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Eyyüp Yaşar Kürüm from our English Language Teaching Program, with Asst. Prof. Ramazan Zengin serving as a jury member, and both students were awarded the title of Master of Science.
