The 11th International Communication Days Symposium on Digital Inequality and Data Colonialism, organized by the Faculty of Communication at Üsküdar University and held between 5–17 May 2024, featured its 36th session titled “Media, Culture, and Art in the Digital Age” on 17 May 2024, chaired by Prof. Dr. And Algül. During this session, Research Assistant Hatice Öksüz from the Visual Communication Design Program and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Begüm Aylin Önder presented their paper titled “Cultural Transmission at the Intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Algorithms: An Analysis through Turkish Cats.”
