A research article by Dr. Lecturer Mert Can Atar titled “The Collapse of Meaning in Digital Epistemology: From Hyper-Rationalism to Conspiracy Theories” has been published in the October 2025 issue of the Kilikya Journal of Philosophy, which is indexed in TRDizin.

The study examines how the positioning of artificial intelligence and algorithms as “neutral producers of truth” gives rise to a hyper-rationalist knowledge regime, and how this regime generates epistemic voids that encourage individuals to gravitate toward conspiracy narratives. The analysis is conducted at the intersection of philosophical epistemology, media theory, and political psychology, with a particular focus on the QAnon case.
