A Peer-Reviewed Study on Digital Culture Wars and Far-Right Radicalization Processes

A new research article by Dr. Lecturer Mert Can Atar has been published in the Journal of the Institute of Social Sciences of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, which is indexed in TRDizin. In the study titled “From Digital Resentment to Radicalization: GamerGate as a Gateway to the Alt-Right,” Dr. Atar analyzes how GamerGate shaped digital culture wars and the radicalization processes of the alt-right. The findings demonstrate that GamerGate was not merely a debate within a gaming community, but rather an early and critical threshold for digital far-right mobilization.
