A technical field trip to Ambarlı Port was organized.

In order to enhance the sectoral knowledge and practical experience of students in the Foreign Trade and Logistics Program, a technical visit was organized to Mardaş Marmara Deniz İşletmeciliği, located at Ambarlı Port, on May 22, 2026, under the supervision of Dr. Serap Elüstü, Deputy Head of the Foreign Trade Program. Prior to the visit, the students received Occupational Health and Safety training and were informed about the safety measures to be followed within the port area. During the visit, they had the opportunity to gain detailed information from company representatives about cargo handling processes, storage activities, customs procedures, and port operations, as well as to observe the operational areas on site. By closely observing the role of the port in the foreign trade and logistics chain, the students gained valuable practical experience that contributed to their professional development and enabled them to establish direct contact with the industry.
