Due to Earthquake Week, observed between 1\u20137 March, PharmAyd\u0131n and Ayd\u0131n ADEC student clubs organized an event titled\u00a0“Pharmaceutical Services in Extraordinary Situations<\/em>” on 3 March 2025 at Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University Florya Campus, delivered by Expert Pharmacist \u0130lhan Durgut. The event began at 16:00 in D Block Orange Hall with a verbal presentation. The presentation provided high-quality, awareness-raising information on disasters, emergencies, and potential hazards we may face. The statement\u00a0\u201cIn the first minutes of disasters, everyone is on their own; only our own preparedness and knowledge can protect us\u201d<\/em>\u00a0particularly impacted participants. Following the presentation, the event continued with hands-on practice, including iodine solution preparation, patient vital checks, safe transport techniques, and critical \u201cdo-not-do\u201d scenarios. Participants watched attentively as students actively took part in the hands-on session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meaningful event was made possible thanks to the efforts of the PharmAyd\u0131n and Ayd\u0131n ADEC student clubs, as well as the valuable contributions of Expert Pharmacist \u0130lhan Durgut. We extend our gratitude to all participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
