On Monday, April 28, a technical visit was organized to Atabay Chemical Industry Trade Inc. Gebze Production Facility with the participation of PharmAyd\u0131n Club and our faculty members. Following the company introduction by R&D Synthesis Manager Assist. Prof. Dr. Salih Tuncay and R&D Researcher Pharmacist Fatma Kardiyen, participants had the opportunity to observe all stages of drug production\u2014from synthesis to the final product. This experience was particularly meaningful for our students. We thank Atabay Chemical Industry Trade Inc. and all its employees, as well as our PharmAyd\u0131n Club, for organizing the visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second session, titled \u201cDrugs Used in Chronic Diseases \u2013 Session II\u201d<\/strong>, chaired by Prof. Dr. Fikret Vehbi \u0130zzettin and Prof. Dr. Yusuf \u00d6zt\u00fcrk, Prof. Dr. Mehmet A\u011f\u0131rba\u015fl\u0131 delivered a presentation on \u201cDrugs Used in Cardiovascular Diseases\u201dand Assoc. Prof. Dr. Song\u00fcl Tezcan presented \u201cPatient Safety in Oncological Drugs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final session, titled \u201cThe Changing Role of Pharmacists in Drug Therapy and Pharmacovigilance Worldwide\u201d<\/strong>, chaired by Prof. Dr. Fikriye Uras and Prof. Dr. Bedia Kaymak\u00e7\u0131o\u011flu, Prof. Dr. Semra Sarda\u015f shared insights on \u201cPharmacovigilance \/ Rational Drug Use\u201d, Prof. Dr. Mesut Sancar delivered a talk on \u201cThe Changing Role of Pharmacists to Ensure Safe Medication Use Worldwide\u201d, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Kemale Leyla Bing\u00f6l presented \u201cMalpractice in Drug Therapy and Its Legal Dimensions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
