On Wednesday, May 21st, between 13:00 and 17:00, a seminar titled \u201cDigital Health: Physical Transformation,\u201d organized by the Ayd\u0131n Nutrition Club, was held with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Halit Tanju BESLER, faculty members and staff of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, and students, under the supervision of Dr. \u015eule ARSLAN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar began with an opening speech by the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Can ERG\u00dcN; followed by a presentation by the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics (English), Dr. Ece \u00c7EL\u0130K ATALAY, on \u201cObesity and Treatment Methods in the Digital Age: Bariatric Surgery and New Technologies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar continued with a presentation by Specialist Physiotherapist Hande Tun\u00e7 titled \u201cThe New Face of Health: Digitalization in Health Applications.\u201d Following this, Dr. \u00d6\u011fr. Member Murat Kavruk addressed the topic of \u201cThe Effects of New Technologies on Nutrition and Dietetics: Threats and Opportunities.\u201d Dietitian B\u00fc\u015fra Deniz K\u0131z\u0131r gave a presentation titled \u201cCurrent Approaches to Adult Obesity: Technology and Nutritional Supplements.\u201d Dietitians Zeynep Keke\u00e7 and Ethan Ha discussed \u201cEvolving Anthropometric Measurements and BIA Technology (Measurement and testing with BIA devices).\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
