The event titled \u201cOncology Pharmacy: Current Approaches and Case Analysis from the Perspective of Clinical Pharmacy (ONKOPHARM),\u201d organized by the PharmAyd\u0131n Student Club of the Faculty of Pharmacy and supported within the scope of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye Ministry of Youth and Sports UNIDES 2026 program, was held on May 11 at the Hasan Fehmi B\u00fcy\u00fckbayram Conference Hall in Block A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was organized in two sessions. In the first session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Song\u00fcl Tezcan delivered a presentation titled \u201cThe Role of the Clinical Pharmacist in Cancer Treatment,\u201d while Pharmacist Feyzanur Y\u0131lmaz presented on \u201cThe Role of the Community Pharmacist in Cancer Care.\u201d In addition, Alper K\u0131r\u0131ml\u0131, President of NCODA T\u00fcrkiye, introduced NCODA, an international organization operating in the field of oncology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second session of the event, two separate case studies were conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Song\u00fcl Tezcan, Specialist Clinical Pharmacist \u00d6mer Faruk \u00d6zkanl\u0131, Pharmacist Feyzanur Y\u0131lmaz, and Alper K\u0131r\u0131ml\u0131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to thank all distinguished speakers and participants who contributed to the ONKOPHARM event, where current approaches in oncology pharmacy were discussed in the light of science and professional responsibility, with the aim of increasing awareness in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
