As part of the May 14th Pharmacy Day celebrations, the \u201c2nd White Coat Ceremony\u201d organized for first-year students of the Turkish and English Pharmacy Programs at Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University Faculty of Pharmacy was held at 2:00 PM in the Hasan Fehmi B\u00fcy\u00fckbayram Conference Hall located in Block A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was coordinated by Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Sevgi Karaku\u015f and hosted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Merve Ataman. The opening speech was delivered by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. F\u00fcsun Terzio\u011flu. The ceremony was attended by Ms. Elif Ayd\u0131n, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of AKEV, faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, students, and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the ceremony, which marked a meaningful milestone for students wearing their white coats as a symbol of their first steps into the profession, emotional speeches were delivered by G\u00fcnce Melek \u00c7\u00f6pl\u00fc, a top-ranking student admitted to the Pharmacy (Turkish) Program through the national university entrance examination, and Elif \u00d6zbay, a student of the Pharmacy (English) Program. Their speeches emphasized the responsibility symbolized by the white coat, the value of the pharmacy profession, and their gratitude toward their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A violin performance presented by second-year medical students Hacer \u00d6zmen and \u0130rem Naz Sezen created a special atmosphere in the foyer area before the ceremony and provided enjoyable moments for the guests. In addition, the decorations prepared by the students of the PharmAyd\u0131n Pharmacy Club and their contributions to the event area helped create a more colorful and lively atmosphere for the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to thank all faculty members, students, and families who contributed to this meaningful ceremony, which strengthened the sense of professional belonging and crowned our students\u2019 first steps in their pharmacy journey in a memorable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
