The fourth edition of the “Halit Ayd\u0131n Science and Research Awards”<\/strong> , first held in 2015 by Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University Center for Social Research, Application and Research (IAU TARMER) and continued as a tradition, will be held in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IV. Halit Ayd\u0131n Science and Research Awards<\/strong>‘s theme has been determined as “Youth\u2019s Perspective on the Institution of Family and Marriage”<\/strong>; with this scientific organization, it is aimed to bring scientific data regarding the causes and consequences of social phenomena that negatively affect our society to public attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the scope of the competition, which will be held with the support of the Anatolian Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), it has been decided that a cash prize of 50,000 TL will be awarded to the first place, 30,000 TL to the second, and 20,000 TL to the third.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University<\/strong>, I would like to thank you in advance for the contributions of your academics and researchers that add value to social sciences, and kindly request the necessary actions for the announcement of the award organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1)<\/strong>      All authors except TARMER members and the competition jury may participate in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2)<\/strong>      The texts submitted to the competition may be in the form of articles, essays<\/strong> or  scientific research<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3)<\/strong>      A contemporary language should be used in the works, and spelling rules must be observed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4)<\/strong>      Works prepared by a single person or by a team may participate in the competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5)<\/strong>      The work must not have been published anywhere before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6)<\/strong>      Texts must be prepared on A4 pages; using 12-point font size, 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman font, and be approximately 40\u201350 pages in length.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7)<\/strong>      At the end of the competition, a cash prize of 50,000 TL will be awarded to the first place, 30,000 TL to the second, and 20,000 TL to the third.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8)<\/strong>      Participants must send their works together with a short CV no later than the end of business hours on May 17, 2024<\/strong> via e-mail to tarmer@aydin.edu.tr<\/a> and receive confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9)<\/strong>      Competition results<\/strong> will be announced after a three-month period following the application deadline on Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University\u2019s website www.aydin.edu.tr<\/a> and on TARMER\u2019s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
