The young population is also very important for the economy because they produce and add energy to the economy.”

Bolat, stating that good education and knowledge are essential for success, said, “Good communication is also necessary alongside good education. Communication is at least as important as education. If communication cannot be established well, you will lose. You must evolve into an outgoing and social person. Develop yourself in this area, strive for it. Information and trends change very quickly. The amount of information in the world in the last two years is more than the information of the last 25 years. Those who cannot renew themselves are doomed to lose. These years are very important for gaining experience. Don’t leave technology offices and libraries. Take language courses. In the future, you will reap the fruits of the seeds you have sown. Have knowledge in every field, but you should have expertise in one area. The era of ‘I can do everything’ is over. We are in the era of specialization.”

Prof. Dr. Bolat, who also participated in the December meeting of the Aydın Thought Platform, provided detailed information about the place and importance of goods and services exports in the global economy, economic growth, and export activities.

The December meeting of the Aydın Thought Platform, one of our university’s think tanks, was held with the participation of the Minister of Trade, Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat.
