As Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University, we took our place with our academicians, students, and entrepreneurs.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At TEKNOFEST 2023, of which we are a stakeholder and which stands as the most important milestone in sustaining our country\u2019s claim of full independence in critical technology fields and carrying this claim to an even higher level, we welcomed visitors at our stand opened under the leadership of our Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ayd\u0131n, together with our academicians, students, and entrepreneurs as Istanbul Ayd\u0131n University.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organized for six years with the vision of the National Technology Initiative to build a technology-developing Turkey, and gaining an international dimension in its fifth year, TEKNOFEST is carried out under the leadership of the Turkey Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, together with many institutions including ministries, presidencies, public and private sector organizations, academic institutions, and media companies that play a critical role in our country\u2019s national technology ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the IAU Technology Development Center (TEKMER), we participated in TEKNOFEST with a total of 20 entrepreneurial companies operating across many different sectors and styles, ranging from electromagnetic weapons to the metaverse, from cybersecurity to drone logistics, from metal-printing 3D printers to VR application areas for ancient cities, and domestic scooter production. Our technology teams K\u00d6KCELL and SANRAMKA competed intensely in the final stage. K\u00d6KCELL competed in the final stage of the Biotechnology Innovation Competition, Project Category \/ University and Above Level. With their project presentation, the K\u00d6KCELL team impressed the jury and received great appreciation for their success. The SANRAMKA team was among the teams that made it to the finals by ranking 5th in the Technology for the Benefit of Humanity competition category.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many distinguished visitors visited our stand and received information from officials. Our President of the Council of Higher Education (Y\u00d6K), Prof. Dr. Erol \u00d6zvar, visited our stands and evaluated the entrepreneurial projects. Hacettepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit G\u00fcran visited us and received information about our projects. At TEKNOFEST 2023, where the heart of domestic and national technology beats, we experienced special moments that made us proud to be a stakeholder.
