The webinar titled “The Future of Industry,” featuring Murt Karslı, was held via Zoom. The session discussed industrial trends, digitalization, and the future roles of engineers in evolving industries.

A technical factory visit was organized to Ersel Heavy Machinery Inc. Students observed production processes, occupational safety practices, and real-life industrial applications on-site.

At the Alumni Meeting organized by the Industrial Engineering Club, successful female Industrial Engineers met with students. The event promoted role modeling, career motivation, and professional experience sharing.

Dr. Neslihan Demir delivered an online lecture as an invited lecturer at the 13th DAAAM Doctoral School. The lecture focused on the transition from Industry 4.0 to Intralogistics 4.0 and smart factory concepts.

Dr. Neslihan Demir presented her paper at the 36th DAAAM International Symposium – Virtual Edition. The study addressed smart factories and the development of autonomous mobile robots for intralogistics 4.0 applications.

The seminar led by Industrial Engineer Şems Hakan Sönmez focused on management consultancy, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. Students gained practical insights into professional decision-making and business-oriented approaches.

Research Assistant Melisa Çalışkan Demir attended the 34th European Conference on Operational Research (EURO 2025) held in Leeds, UK. The conference provided a platform to follow recent developments in operational research and decision sciences.

Istanbul Aydın University R&D Club and Industrial Engineering Club received an award at the Clubs Union Award Ceremony for their successful academic, social, and professional activities during the 2024–2025 academic year.

Research Assistant Melisa Çalışkan Demir participated in the MCO 2025 Conference held in Metz, France. The conference focused on recent academic studies in modelling, computation, and optimization in information systems and management sciences.
