2026-2027 Academic Year Clinical Internship Orientation Program Successfully Completed

As part of the 2026-2027 Academic Year, Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry held a Clinical Internship Orientation Program on Monday, September 7, 2026, at the Esenyurt Campus to support fourth- and fifth-year dental students in preparing for their clinical internships.

The program was conducted in two separate sessions, in the morning and afternoon, covering hand hygiene and infection control, emergency response codes, medical waste management, sterilization procedures, the use of dental units and rotary handpieces, the BİLMED automation system, clinical workflows, and vital sign measurement practices.

The orientation program was successfully completed, aiming to facilitate students’ adaptation to the clinical environment, raise awareness of patient and staff safety, and support their professional development.
