Among the speakers in the third session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Ayan addressed diagnostic and treatment methods in nuclear and radiation risks, stating, “Factors such as the radiation energy received, the type and activity of the radiation, exposure to external or internal radiation, and where the radionuclide concentrates in the body and how long it remains there are elements that increase the risk factor.” Prof. Dr. Beril Tuğrul informed the participants by making statements about the assessment of global and regional nuclear threats.
