IAU TEKMER ENTREPRENEUR MUMURGAN RECEIVES A SPECIAL AWARD!

​IAU TEKMER entrepreneur Mumurgan team received a special award at the social innovation program DOZ, organized by Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals. 

Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry student Shanli Motiei and Faculty of Medicine student Ramin Ghatari were deemed worthy of the Jury Special Award at the Abdi İbrahim Social Innovation in Healthcare Program: DOZ with Mumurgan, the next-generation organic burn wound dressing they developed under the umbrella of IAU TEKMER. 

DOZ, a healthcare innovation program launched to support early- and advanced-stage impact-oriented entrepreneurs who develop innovative solutions in the healthcare sector, enabled our entrepreneurs to complete their 4-month training at the “Early Stage” level and advance to the final round among 100 entrepreneurs, where they presented their product to the jury.

All the necessary support required to further develop this wound dressing—which heals 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns in a short time without leaving scars—and to bring it to pharmacy shelves will be provided by Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals.
