THE “GOLDEN” AGE IN BRAIN SURGERY

At the 7th International Invention Fair held in Samsun, TEKNOFEST, we won a gold medal with NEUROSPOT, an artificial intelligence-based software developed within TEKMER that enables the rapid and effective identification of appropriate hole points in the skull during neurosurgery.

Developed due to the high cost and impracticality of existing neuronavigation systems, this system will allow for the optimal identification of entry points in the skull such as ventriculostomy, shunt placement, and burr hole procedures.

We, as the IAÜ family, would like to thank Prof. Dr. Serdar Baki Albayrak, Onur Yolay, and Emrullah Saku for their contributions to the development of this artificial intelligence-based software, and wish them continued success.
