Transformative Change for a Shared Future” Event within the Scope of World Social Work Day

İstanbul Aydın University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Social Work, in collaboration with the SHUDER Istanbul Branch, organized an event within the scope of World Social Work Day on March 19, during which the role of social work in social transformation was addressed in a multidimensional manner. The event was attended by İkram Doğan, President of the SHUDER Istanbul Branch; Suzan Oktay Erol, Education Secretary; Dr. Melek İpek, Head of the Department of Social Work at Istanbul Aydın University; and Dr. Poyraz Kolluoğlu. Within the framework of the theme “Transformative Change for a Shared Future,” the contributions of the social work profession in the context of human rights, social justice, solidarity, and sustainability were discussed from both academic and professional perspectives.
