Applied Workshop on Social Investigation and Report Writing in Social Work

Within the scope of the event organized by the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Health Sciences, Istanbul Aydın University, the process of social assessment and report writing in social work was addressed in a practice-based manner. In the program, Social Worker Hıdır Yıldız from the Bahçelievler Social Service Center participated as a speaker, and detailed information was shared on the purpose of social assessment, data collection and evaluation processes, the fundamental principles of report writing in line with professional ethical standards, and practice-based examples encountered in the field. Held on December 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the D Block Orange Hall, the event was conducted under the moderation of Dr. Melek İpek. It was concluded in an interactive and educational environment through the discussion and answering of students’ questions regarding social assessment and reporting processes. The event provided an important perspective for students in terms of building a bridge between theory and practice.
