Creative Drama Workshop on Emotional Awareness and Effective Communication

Within the scope of the event organized by the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Health Sciences, Istanbul Aydın University, the impact of creative drama on emotional awareness and open and sustainable communication was addressed. In the event, Lecturer Eren Genç participated as the speaker, and the processes of recognizing, feeling, and expressing emotions were examined through creative drama–based methods. Practical examples aimed at strengthening empathy, awareness, and interaction in interpersonal communication were shared. The event provided an important learning environment for the development of communication skills in social work education. Held on December 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the D Block Orange Conference Hall, and open to all campus students, the event was concluded in an interactive and educational atmosphere with the active participation of attendees.
