A Mentor Mentee event was held for Electrical and Electronics Engineering and University students

An online event titled “Mentor–Mentee: Guiding the Engineers of the Future” was organizedby the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, IstanbulAydın University, on December 24, 2025. The event aimed to support students’ academicdevelopment, guide their career planning processes, and enhance their awareness of theengineering profession.
The event featured presentations by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kaveh Dehghanian, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuri Gökmen Karakiraz, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ebru İdman, and was moderated by Prof. Dr. Osman Yıldırım, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. During theevent, students had the opportunity to interact directly with faculty members and gainvaluable insights into academic life, industry expectations, and professional development.
