Under the moderation of Prof. Dr. Nevzat Hafis Yanık, Head of our Arabic Language Teaching Program, a webinar titled “A Look at Ottoman Period Arabic Literature Through a Janissary Poet” was held on March 19, 2025, where Dr. Hacı Osman Gündüz, a faculty member at Harvard University, delivered a comprehensive presentation on a Janissary-origin poet from the Inhitat period and the poetic elements of his time.
