The First Orientation Meeting of Our Faculty Was Held

This year, the orientation program for the 1st-year students of our newly established Faculty was held on 25 September, a significant date for us as it is World Pharmacists’ Day, at 10:00 in D Block Blue Hall. The opening speech was delivered by our Dean, Prof. Dr. A. Nurten Özdemir, followed by an informative presentation about the Faculty. After the presentation, our students received very important information about the UBIS system from IT specialists Aliye Yalın and Emirhan Doğan from the Information Processing Department. Our program gained a different color with the speech delivered by our Student Dean, Asst. Prof. Özgül Yaman, about university clubs, followed by a video presentation showcasing the activities of these clubs. After the speeches, group photo sessions were held, followed by laboratory and library tours, which allowed our orientation program to be completed productively. We would like to thank Lecturer Veli Bülent Uçar, Medical Laboratory Technician Batuhan Tilkili, Biomedical Technician Büşra Tugan, and Library Assistant Specialists İrem Kaya and Lütfullah Akalın for their support during the program, and we wish all our students a successful 2024–2025 Academic Year.
