Orientation Program Held for First-Year Students on World Pharmacists’ Day, 25 September

The orientation program organized for students admitted to our Faculty for the 2025–2026 Academic Year was held once again on 25 September, World Pharmacists’ Day, in Block T, Turquoise Hall. The program began with an opening speech delivered by our Dean, Prof. Dr. A. Nurten Özdemir, followed by a presentation about our Faculty by our Vice Dean, Prof. Dr. Sevgi Karakuş.

After an emotional speech by our 2nd-year student representative Ceren İlsu Korkmaz, President of the PharmAydın Club Sarenur Deli and President of the Aydın ADEC Club Aysu Özoğul delivered presentations introducing their clubs and sharing activities carried out in previous terms.

The program continued with a presentation on UBIS and EBS systems by Assistant Software Specialist Furkan Pulat. It concluded with an informative speech from our Student Dean, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Özgül Yaman, on student clubs at the university.

Following the program, students visited the university library, where they received information about library services and operational processes.
