Master’s Thesis Defense

Nagihan Usta, a student in the English Language Teaching MA Programme under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Akbar Alişah from the English Language Teaching Programme successfully defended her thesis titled “The Effects of Congruency, Transparency, and Frequency on Verb-Noun Collocational Accuracy Among Turkish EFL Learners” on February 24, 2026. The defense was held with a jury chaired by Prof. Dr. Türkay Bulut, Head of the English Language Teaching Programme, and upon her success, she was awarded the title of Master of Arts.
