Translation Panel

Dr. Tuğba Gülal, Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema (English), and a Board Member of the Turkish Translation Association, which is a member of the International Federation of Translators (FIT), organized and moderated the panel titled “The Role of Translation in Digital Communication,” held at Istanbul Aydın University on Friday, March 13, with high participation.

Prof. Dr. Erkan Saka, Lecturer Murat Deniz Postacı, and Translator Turgut Ağar took part in the panel as speakers. The discussion addressed how translation is being transformed in today’s world shaped by algorithms, artificial intelligence, and global data circulation, while also comprehensively evaluating the impact of this transformation on the functioning of the digital communication ecosystem.
