Translation Award Ceremony

The 2025 Award Ceremony of the Turkish Translation Association was held on March 13, 2025, hosted by the Departments of Radio, Television and Cinema (English) and English Translation and Interpreting at Istanbul Aydın University. During the ceremony, attended by distinguished figures from both academia and the industry, the Honor Award was presented to Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nihal Akbulut, while the Professional Achievement Awards were given to translators Baki Yiğit and Bahar Çotur. The Elif Ertan Young Voice Award was granted to Sözelti Magazine.

Celebrating dialogue, external stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and the evolving role of translation in the digital age, this meaningful gathering was enriched by the valuable contributions of its participants.
