The 8th Talk of the “Academy of Difference Makers” Has Been Held

The eighth session of the “Academy of Difference Makers” program, chaired by our Dean Prof. Dr. Ayşe Nurten Özdemir, was held on Tuesday, March 24, at the T Block Purple Hall, with the participation of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Ms. Fatma Şahin.

In her talk titled “From Dreams to Reality,” Ms. Şahin addressed the understanding of municipal governance in the Century of Türkiye, the development initiatives of Gaziantep, the distinctive impact she has created in social municipalism, and the critical role of local governments within the national vision, delivering an informative and inspiring speech.

Following the talk, Ms. Şahin answered students’ questions and expressed her commitment to supporting the development of joint projects in the name of sustainability.
