IAU Department of Architecture Signs Strategic Collaboration Protocol with the Chamber of Architects

Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Architecture and Design (Departments of Architecture and Architecture – English) has officially signed an External Stakeholder Cooperation Protocol with the Chamber of Architects (TMMOB – Bakırköy Branch) to bridge the gap between academic education and professional practice.

The protocol was signed by Dean Prof. Dr. Ufuk Fatih Küçükali and the Board Chair of the Chamber of Architects Bakırköy Branch, Ayça Yazıcı. The agreement aims to enhance educational quality, integrate industry dynamics into the curriculum, and support students’ professional development.

Key Areas of Collaboration:

• Education & Curriculum: Updating course contents based on current industry standards and inviting sector experts as guest lecturers.
• Internships & Career: Providing internship opportunities, professional guidance, and career development events.
• Projects & Events: Organizing joint workshops, seminars, graduation project mentorship, and applied case studies.
