International Online Seminar Participation by Head of the Sociology Department, Prof. Dr. Hacı Duran

Prof. Dr. Hacı Duran, Head of the Sociology Department, participated in a live seminar organized by the Morocco-based think tank, Merkezu Alhubera ve İstişarat. During the meeting, which was held via TikTok, the perspectives presented in Richard Nisbett’s book, The Geography of Thought, were discussed. Prof. Hacı Duran represented Turkey on the platform, which featured the participation of scholars from various universities across Arab countries. The conference commenced at 22:00 on September 5, 2026, and lasted for two hours.
