International Academic Visit to the IAU Sociology Department

Prof. Dr. Hacı Duran, Head of the Sociology Department at Istanbul Aydın University (IAU), hosted Abir Riane Cheriet, a doctoral student from the National Higher School of Statistics and Applied Economics (ENSSEA) in Algeria, as part of international academic collaborations.
During the visit, which took place at the IAU Sociology Department on September 30, 2026, views were exchanged regarding academic activities, scientific research processes, and international academic collaborations.
Cheriet’s engagement with the department’s academic activities during her scientific research visit to Istanbul Aydın University—held between September 25 and October 14, 2026—is significant in terms of international academic exchange.
