The “Counter-Terrorism Excellence Center,” established within the Turkish Armed Forces to provide expertise and experience to NATO on a national or multinational basis, held a seminar in Ankara on October 18-19.
In this seminar, which featured many foreign military personnel and academics who are experts in the field and where participants shared their perspectives and individual experiences related to terrorism, our faculty member Dr. Filiz Katman was the only Turkish academician representing our country with her presentation titled “Analysis of Turkey’s Policy on Combating the Financing of Terrorism.”
We congratulate our faculty member Dr. Filiz Katman for successfully representing both our university and our country at this internationally significant seminar and wish her continued success.
