THE ITALIAN DESIGN TRADITION MEETS IAU

Istanbul Aydin University will host the international event “Land of Symphony – An Italian Design Story,” which explores Italian design, cinema, and creative industries through an interdisciplinary approach.

The Project that is prepared by Poliarte Accademia di Design (Italy) and inspired by the craft tradition of Italy’s Marche Region, brings together cinema, design, staging, and artificial intelligence on the same platform.

On the first day of the two-day program, the session titled “The Future of Cinema Between New Languages, Digital Technologies, and Artificial Intelligence” and the screening of the Sakura short film will address the evolving language of cinema, followed by discussions on Italian design heritage.

On the second day, the focus will shift to immersive staging, videomapping, and artificial intelligence. The screening of the documentary “Digital Aida” and with the MOIRA workshop, processes of creative learning will be discussed.

The event is expected to establish an international platform for dialogue at the intersection of art, design, and technology.
