KENNESAW STATE UNIVERSITY, USA, VISITED IAU

Istanbul Aydın University continues to forge international collaborations to ensure its students receive a comprehensive education while preparing them for the business world. A meeting was held with officials from Kennesaw State University in the USA to discuss collaborations in various fields.

Professor Lin A. Hightower from Kennesaw State University visited our university. The meeting, chaired by our Vice Rector Prof. Reşat Başar, was attended by Prof. Lin A. Hightower, the Dean of our Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Özer Kamburoğlu, Department Heads, and the Erasmus Coordinator, Short-Term Exchange Programs Coordinator, and International Academic Relations Coordinator from the International Relations Directorate.

During the meeting, discussions focused on potential joint Erasmus Plus projects, student and academic exchange programs under Fulbright scholarships, general exchange programs, and the development of quality curricula. They also discussed conferences and panels that could be held at the departmental level within the Faculty of Fine Arts, as well as details of potential collaborations between Istanbul Aydın University and Kennesaw State University.

Following the bilateral collaboration meeting held in the morning, Prof. Lin A. Hightower met with our students and academics at the Faculty of Fine Arts in the afternoon and gave a seminar on “Art Scholarship Opportunities in the USA”.
