The Turkish Language Teaching Programme hosted an international webinar titled “Turkish Language within the Framework of Language, Literature and Education” on 22 January 2026. The event brought together prominent academics from five countries—Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, France, and Azerbaijan.

On May 16, 2026, Research Assistant Ayşe Yaren Bağcı presented her paper titled “Gender-Informed Variation in Discourse Marker Use: A Case Study of Teacher Talk in EFL Classrooms” at the 3rd International PGELT 2026 (Postgraduate Conference on English Language Teaching) held at Bursa Uludağ University.
