Addictions Changing and Shaping in the Digital Age”, organized by the Faculty of Education at Istanbul Aydın University, explored the impact of digitalization on addiction from multiple perspectives. Experts discussed digital addictions, emerging trends in substance addiction, and the effects of online addictions on individuals.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hadiye Küçükkaragöz and Lecturer Dilek Özyürek from the Psychological Counselling and Guidance Program held a seminar on “Loss and Grief” for teachers affiliated with the Küçükçekmece District National Education Directorate on December 24, 2025.

Prof. Dr Ragıp Özyürek, the Head of Psychological Counselling and Guidance Program, participated as a speaker in the talk titled “Psychological Counselling Education and Employment” held on December 19, 2025, at the Ahmet Altınbaş Hall of the Faculty of Education at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University.

The Head of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program, Prof. Dr. Ragıp Özyürek, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hadiye Küçükkaragöz participated as panelists in the 12th Kalkan International Horizons of Humanity Symposium and the 8th Kalkan International Post-Modern Art Festival.

The VIIth School Counseling Symposium, organized by the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program on December 4, 2025, is an academic and professional event that addresses current approaches in the field of school counseling. The event featured expert speakers on topics such as trauma, play therapy, resilience, and postmodern approaches in school counseling.

Instructor Dilek Özyürek, from the Psychological Counselling and Guidance Program, held a workshop for parents titled “Growing Together, A Journey into My Child’s World” at the Parent Academy Program held at the Cihangir Schools Atakent Campus Conference Hall on December 3, 2025.
