“From Graduate to Master: Seafood Workshop” Held
On December 16, 2025, the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Istanbul Aydın University, organized the “From Graduate to Master: Seafood Workshop.” The workshop was held at the O Block – O11205 training kitchen with the participation of Arda Paftalı, an alumnus of the department.
Within the scope of the workshop, the selection, cleaning, preparation, and cooking techniques of seafood were addressed through hands-on practice. Students had the opportunity to enhance their sector-oriented knowledge and skills by benefiting from the professional kitchen experiences of a graduate chef. The event was considered productive in terms of strengthening alumni–student interaction and contributing to applied culinary education.
